{"id":288,"date":"2013-07-09T19:20:59","date_gmt":"2013-07-09T22:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.pelleys.com\/?p=288"},"modified":"2013-07-09T19:20:59","modified_gmt":"2013-07-09T22:50:59","slug":"from-the-at-least-it-isnt-only-me-file","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.pelleys.com\/?p=288","title":{"rendered":"From the &quot;At Least It Isn&#039;t Only Me&quot; File&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Again from <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ars Technica\u00a0<\/a>today&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>At least it isn&#8217;t just me who puts things together backwards&#8230; In the Ars article of 2013 July 9 entitles <em><a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/science\/2013\/07\/parts-installed-upside-down-caused-last-weeks-russian-rocket-to-explode\/\" target=\"_blank\">Parts installed \u201cupside down\u201d caused Russian rocket to explode last week<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>on July 4 a Russian rocket, carrying a\u00a0GLONASS navigation satellite (Russia&#8217;s answer to GPS &#8211; for some reason Russia doesn&#8217;t trust the U.S. system&#8230;) because, get this: Because various sensors were installed upside down!<\/p>\n<p>Each sensors had an arrow that was suppose to point toward the top of the rocket, but multiple sensors were pointing downward instead. Anatoly Zak <a href=\"http:\/\/www.russianspaceweb.com\/proton_glonass49.html#culprit\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a> on\u00a0<a href=\"RussianSpaceWeb.com\" target=\"_blank\">RussianSpaceWeb.com<\/a>\u00a0that:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Each of those sensors had an arrow that was suppose to point toward the top of the vehicle, however multiple sensors on the failed rocket were pointing downward instead.
