I hate the when I&#8217;m typing and my cursor decides to jump somewhere&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I found scripts to disable the Synaptic touchpad but this isn&#8217;t what I really wanted. They worked but still&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, after yet another Google search I found the answer! The solution is located my\u00a0Linux Mint Post\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.linuxmint.com\/viewtopic.php?t=187410\">Lenovo Y50 &#8211; Turn off Touchpad<\/a>\u00a0and the answer by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.linuxmint.com\/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=162488&amp;sid=5b34473c294b376f72b6b16a1a48b5d4\">ecola<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Here is the Answer:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">gksu pluma \/lib\/udev\/hwdb.d\/60-keyboard.hwdb<\/pre>\n<p>Add this at the end of the Lenovo section:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"># Lenovo 20378\nkeyboard:dmi:bvn*:bvr*:svnLENOVO*:pn*20378*:pvr*\n KEYBOARD_KEY_f3=f21 # Fn+F6 (toggle touchpad)<\/pre>\n<p>Save the file, then:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">sudo udevadm hwdb --update<\/pre>\n<pre style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">sudo reboot<\/pre>\n<p>Works just perfect!
